Our MegaFactory, located in Owen Sound, Ontario is equipped with automated, precision manufacturing equipment along with a complete demonstration plant and our Customer Care Center. The facility is also the home to our research and development activities.

The RuggedCell® system represents the 4th generation of Stuart Unipolar Alkaline electrolyzers, a technology platform with a proven global legacy. More than 1,000 Stuart Unipolar plants have been sold around the world, and over 100 units remain in operation today, demonstrating the long‑life durability this technology is known for.
The RuggedCell builds on this century‑long foundation, integrating the latest advancements in electrolysis design, automation, and manufacturing to enable large‑scale hydrogen production and support high‑volume manufacturing.
It retains the robustness of the original Stuart design - while setting a new benchmark for efficiency, scalability, and lifetime performance.
