Built on century-proven Stuart unipolar alkaline technology with over 1,000 plants installed worldwide, our RuggedCell® serves as the core element of our hydrogen electrolyzers. The RuggedCell is unique among water electrolyzers for its patented unipolar architecture, which delivers the advantages of both PEM and standard alkaline electrolyzers: -They offer the robustness, stability and reliability of alkaline but are reactive, flexible and scalable like PEM. -They are built with simple, strong and lasting materials, with no critical minerals and no PFAS. They are the most durable water electrolysis cells in the market, with plants still operating after 30+ years. -They require little maintenance and offer minimal degradation, with no stack replacement required over a typical project lifetime.
