Daniel Mateos
Chief Technology Officer
Daniel Mateos leads the development of technology, products and projects at Hydrogen Optimized. He is also responsible for new product and technology development and project execution across the Key DH Technologies group of companies, which includes Isowater, deutraMed and Hydrogen Optimized. Daniel leads a multi-disciplinary team of engineers and scientists that is focused both on technology commercialization and project execution.
Daniel applies over 25 years of international experience in engineering and product development to his role. Throughout his career, he has contributed significantly to the development of new business opportunities and products in the chemical industry, industrial gases, green hydrogen, clean energy and other fields. His experience includes work at leading German and Spanish companies involved in the engineering and construction of plants for the oil, gas and chemical industries. He holds several patents in these fields.
Daniel earned a degree in Engineering (Master’s equivalent) from the Polytechnic University UPM Madrid in Spain, and a specialization in Process and Chemical Engineering at the Technical University RWTH Aachen University in Germany. He is fluent in German, English and Spanish.
