With a Master's degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor's in Metallurgical Engineering from Federal University of Ceará, Brazil, Pedro has over seven years of specialized experience in electrochemistry, materials development, and hydrogen production technologies.

Pedro specializes in electrolyzer performance optimization, materials characterization, and the development of electrochemical systems for energy conversion applications. His background at Hydrogen Optimized includes progressive roles as Electrochemist, Electrochemical Products Lead, and Head of Electrochemistry and Materials Development, where he led materials innovation and product development initiatives. Pedro's experience encompasses designing and testing PEM and AEM fuel cells and electrolyzers, developing advanced catalyst materials through nanopowder synthesis, conducting electrochemical characterization and performance testing, and translating research findings into practical engineering solutions for large-scale hydrogen production systems.
